  1. i got it off etsy, its for a toyota highlander . i cut it to fit
  2. Scored some 31x10.5 mts on wheels for 70 bucks and stuck some 7in leds on the bush guard
  3. so after probing everything, burping the system multiple times, getting a mechanical temp sender, pressure testing the system, hooking my scanner to it ... come to find out its the dash gauge itself.. i punched the dash and it started working again.. took the dash apart cleaned everything up .. took the gauge out of the cluster cleaned the contacts and printed board, re tighten it all back up and it works fine
  4. So let it warm up again, bought a mechanical Bosch gauge from advance.. popped the radiator cap off, turned the ac on and let it idle for 20-30 mins and it maintained 185-190... hold it at 1500-2000 and it would drop a little from circulation.. im thinking either there is a wire issue or the temp sender is bad but i already replaced it with another one off an old motor.. ordered up a new one and we will see what happens
  5. So check this out.. im wondering if a wire got pulled somewhere.. Not saying the cooling issue isnt there but its never ran hot before ever I go out and was gonna move it up the drive way and i notice the temp gauge is up a little bit.. its 67 degrees here in central fl and it hasnt moved since last night
  6. Drained it made sure everything flows.. same thing.. top hose is hot.. bottom is kinda warm.. im thinking thermostat
  7. So check this Pulled up in front of a buddys, put it in low range, did a 2wd 1,2,3 smokey burnout.. got down the road and it was running hot.. get home and the upper hose had slid off just enough to leak.. Put it back on and weirdly enough it wasnt low on coolant.. let it idle in the drive way and the temp gauge just goes up to H.. Bleed the system with the bleeder on the intake manifold and its good. switched out the temp sensor on the upper outlet .. same thing Been sitting in the driveway for 30minutes now and its still up on H.. thinking maybe thermostat is stuck? top hose is hot lower is kinda warm any ideas??
  8. Got some paint on the wheels this weekend. Was gonna put my manual hubs and snorkel on but lacked motivation
  9. yupp Rann them on my auto xterra before it blew up .. they would come loose on me and id hear them clunk.. would tighten them up on the trail lol ill be putting them on this weekend on my 98 with the blue stuff
  10. same https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VSKQ7I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 havnt had an issue with them except i should have used loctite on the main bolts lol
  11. strut spacer is in and sits nice and even.. Couldnt fit the 2.5 spacer in so i just put the 1.5 in not a bad choice.. All thats left for the weekend is manual hubs and a snorkel
  12. Scored a pair of 31x11.5 swampers last night for 100 bucks .. came with some old buckshots on wheels but the buckshots were toast Went and tested it out and she pulls pretty gooood
  13. Ive got manual hubs ill be putting on it and fortunately where i live in fl it doesnt see alot of flexing just mud and water .. plus im not to worried about replacing the cvs on it that have 209k miles on them Just trying to get this thing up off the tires some
  14. So if i read this correctly and i believe i did .. all 13 pages, nrc9447s wil give the least amount of lift and i will have no rake if i do a 2in spacer in the front correct?
  15. Here she is in all her glory. Still really baffled with the smoking issue though. Im thinking either a valve seal is trashed or the PCV is sticking time to time. Doesn't smoke a lick and then randomly it just blows smoke everywhere for a few seconds then clears up.. did it twice on a 20mile trip home and once when testing the 4wd in the picture when i backed it down the hill.. Really weird to be honest but im gonna drain some oil, add some atf do a few laps around the block and give her a tune up. Thing runs unbelievably good and quiet. I though it stalled out at a stop sign but its just super quiet lol 209k on the Odometer not sure about motor but it has the infinity motor in it Got my SF creations 2.5 strut spacer im gonna stick in and i gotta order up a rear coil spacer to match. prob gonna source parts for a SAS from my buddy. he has front and rear axle from a 02 grand Cherokee i believe and the steering box. D30 front and the aluminum D44 for the rear Time will tell Edit This thing is kinda gutless to after about 4k .. ive had a few vgs in my time and they were never an issue.. just wonder if theres something i need to really look at.. no CEL on and no stored codes or is it just the nature of the beast with these things
  16. I have done my fair share of browsing this fine site but i have yet to come across a thread specific for what wheels people are running. There are plenty about tire sizes but lets see what wheels everyone has -Wheel brand -Diameter 16,17,18 -tire size -Width -Offset/backspacing -suspension modifaction -fender mod and any other relevant info
  17. well you sir deserve a swift kick in the bean bag
  18. If a kit ever comes from this consider me sold, cause god knows im gonna need more then a strut spacer lol
  19. Ill check them out Thank you
