VG30 tells you the engine family (VG) and displacement (3.0). The letter at the end tells you how it gets fuel. VG30I is throttle body injection (80s tech), VG30E is multi-port (what you've got). Some engines have more letters to designate other things. A VG30DETT is a VG30 with dual overhead cams, multi-port, and twin turbos. A VG33ER is a VG33 with multi-port and a supercharger.

So I had to so a double take when I saw this album cover and it is definitely a pathfinder. Probably got a little too excited when I noticed this but thought it was sweet.

2 years now restoring the 97 Q fixer upper and I couldn't be more happier. I joined NPORA Jan 2016 and what I know now as opposed to what I knew then is as different as night to day. When I came into the world of my 1st R50 a 98 Pathfinder I had no clue that I would end up finding my passion. I played music for 15 years heard my songs on the radio, idolized John Lennon and played every bar from Nashville across the Cumberland plateau. Met a lot of great people had a ton of crazy nights experiencing the good bad and the ugly. But the feeling I get from working on my R50 and enjoying every minute of it, playing rockin roll didn't compare. Thank you Nissan for building one hell of an automobile and thanks to everyone of you all that helped me out along the way. Im not done yet. Throwing my opinion in, and echoing other comments, gearing probably not necessary if you have the 3.5L. I swapped to 4.636 when I put my Lokka and re-packed LSD. Don't recall if I did that when I had 31" or 32" tires. My distinct opinion on that first test drive was that the truck was that it had a lot more get-up-and-go than before. However, my MPG has been poor (I'm blaming the O2 sensors) for a while and the RPMs tend to run a little higher than I'd like at highway speeds. However, I re-geared for trail usage.

I more less got the fogs for looks not so much lighting up the trails. Of course you never know what one might do on a clear cool summer night. The clash is definitely noticable brother. I love the look of the light bar in the lower clip. Still not sure what im gonna do. Sent from my SM-S737TL using Tapatalk

Your question is already answered lol but for future reference (if you're looking at junkyard rigs or whatever) the vin plate on the firewall will say either HG43 or HG46 on it. HG43=4.36's and HG46=4.63's

I really like the stock fog lights. Are those leds?
