1. Will post some photos once done. I’m probably going to weld some more support pieces on these to beef them up a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

 2. Thanks for the tip! It ended up working out, when I put the new master cylinder in, I adjusted the pedal to whatever the old one was set at. Apparently this was wrong, with some pedal adjustment everything is working great.

 3. For you all that have snorkels, how did you attach the snorkel to the A pillar by the door?

 6. Bolting for most sliders is fine - see virtually every 5th Gen T4R or GX470 slider. It also makes removing to repair & repaint easier. RROs mount, however, is a little problematic. hawairish had them on his truck when he bought it & showed me where it has flexed a little and deformed his pinch weld behind the front wheel well. (I believe his are also bolted by the way). Given how stoutly the OEM running boards mount, it’s odd that RRO didn’t just use those anchor points. Pines to Spines Off-Road (PSOR) are planning slider mounts to the OEM running board anchors. They plan them to work for generic sliders (a laTowndawgR50) but should be modifiable to RRO’s as well. I hope they have them done by the end of summer but I have patience - I have a set of RRO’s with kickouts that I bought last May that are still sitting in their box in my garage.

 8. I would weld them on after you bolt them up. For some reason having sliders just bolted makes me feel uneasy haha

 9. Interesting, I’m from KC & would have figured people went to KC or St.L or Columbia. Those prices are Seattle like & usually it’s crazy here compared to back home on everything else.

 10. If an RDX fits your price point & size, it’s hard to beat a Honda for reliability. I don’t know RDXs but 1st & 2nd/3rd Gen MDXs last forever. They also perform well & handle remarkably well. I expect the RDX is similar though they have terrible looking & great looking years.

 11. I've read of a couple cases where people did this and the balancer cracked because there wasn't enough meat left around the keyway. This cost them each a crankshaft when the balancer worked loose. I was going to offer re-machined new harmonic balancers to adapt VG30 accessories to VG33 cranks until I read about these problems and looked at how little material is left when you bore out a VG30 balancer. The adapter hub I'm producing replaces the harmonic balancer and accepts the VG30's six bolt steel crank pulleys. It's a fully CNC machined anodized aluminum unit for $75.
