Precise1
Get the black steel rock crawlers and forget about the sticker. It'll save you about $200 and look better. Stickers are for posers, just ask Vengeful... B
ILoveMyPatty
The White Powders are the cheapest Rock Crawlers on that site, $1 cheaper than the Black ones
Precise1
Oops, sorry, I had the $411 stuck in my head from the tires... I'm not budging about the sticker though... Have you checked out the Tire Review in the Product Review section ? B
ILoveMyPatty
Yup, I saw that 88 had a set of 33x10.50 TSL Radials and he said he got 35-40k miles outa them. That sounds pretty good to me. Edited July 13, 2006 by ILoveMyPatty
vengeful
If you order more than ~$75 from AC, they'll give you a sticker anyways... Go for the black ones...they'll look better and it's only $4 more in the grand scheme....take the $5 off from the sticker, and put that towards getting the black wheels, and you still come out a Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger ahead!! ILoveMyPatty
Wooo! Bike gets shipped tomorrow, should get there the next day, and the money should soon follow!! I'm having difficulties now though... I want exhaust, from the headers back.. and an intake... but I wanna get a lift and tires... Ahhhh
vengeful
Lift first....more expensive...exhaust later.
Casey.T
Do the Headers 1st imo.....
vengeful
Actually, if you've got the patience....I'd save up and do it all at once. But, if you can't wait, do the lift and headers, and then the rest of the exhaust later.
ILoveMyPatty
How much should I expect to spend on a whole exhaust system, with Thorleys and a Magnaflow or Flowmaster, or whatever you guys/gals reccomend...? I don't even know, price wise.. and with the Thorleys, do they make them for Pathfinders, or do the ones for the pickup fit?
vengeful
Check out 4x4parts.com for the Thorleys. Yes, they make them for the Pathy. I don't recall pricing off the top of my head, but they have it on the site. As far as exhaust goes, I got mine done, aluminized steel, all custom piping from the cats out, for just under $200. That didn't include buying the muffler, which I paid $18 for on eBay. It was originally like a $100 muffler. Between Magnaflow and Flowmaster, they have two very different sounds. If you want more subtle, but still a little throaty, go with the Magnaflow. If you want a balls-out roar, and a really throaty idle, go with the Flowmaster. And then once you choose a brand, you have to choose which line of muffler you want. I've got a 40-Series Delta-flow and love it. I'll post a vid when I get home. ILoveMyPatty
Sounds like I want a Flowmaster. Is putting a cone filter on our Pathys really worth it? Like a K&N cone, but people say K&Ns offroad are bad for engines (more airflow=more dirt)...
vengeful
On-Road it's fine as long as you don't over-oil it.
max_stryker
Id go onto summit and pick up wheels if you want black steelies...they are pretty cheap..
ILoveMyPatty
Hmmm. I'll check it out, thanks max. vengeful, you got that video clip of your exhaust by any chance?
Precise1
If you do the exhaust, do it all in 1 shot, headers to tailpipe... It would be about $700 if you install the headers and have the piping done with new high flow cat and muffler. Then save for the lift and tires. Do it the other way around, but you'll want the extra power once you are lifted and have agressive tires... B

I've ordered well over $75 a few times from AC, and no sticker nor much help for that matter. Crappy customer service, so I'd probably just burn the sticker anyways, as it surely wouldn't go on my truck. My advice would be to shop and buy elsewhere unless that's the only place you can find what you need (such as with the body lift). And definately black for the Crawlers. Or does it have to be welded... Is it bad to drive it with just headers? Because if I cant bolt it up at home, I have to drive it 1 hour to town to get the rest of the exhaust put on...
