GrimGreg
So, I finally got around to doing this little mod today. I made a custom tube between the MAF and TB and put a cone adapter on the MAF. What do you think? I used Spectre Performance parts to build the custom tube.

Precise1
Yes, it looks fine. Actually, it looks out of place as it's the only things that doesn't look like crap... No concerns about sucking water though ? B

GrimGreg
It's much more agressive when you hit the gas, less hesitation on throttle responce. I do plan to make a sheild for it to help keep mud and hot air away (my fender liner is toast). As for water, my 93 is semi-retired from wheeling, it is getting a run next month, but I will avoid the deep stuff. One nice thing, if I really wanted to I could go back to the stock air box since I didn't destroy anything, only removed and remounted the MAF piece. And, I could do that and keep the new tube on there (though I might need to add a 22degree angled tube onto that to line it up right. One main reason I did remove the box was 2 of the clips that hold the top on had broke, so I was using a bungee cord to keep it on .
