Well I was going to take a picture and post it, but I seem to have lost the semi part of the car transport. I still have the yellow trailer (although the ramp for the second level has long since broken and been lost to the sands of time...)

I still have a bunch of micro machines in my closet somewhere...

Man, does any one remember the all metal tonkas? Those were cool. I use to ride on top of the dump truck and beat the s#!t out of it and wouldn't get a dent. I loved those trucks. I had the dump truck, the crane, and the bull dozer. Ah, nostalgia!

HAHA!  I still have all my metal tonkas, although they are just a little rusty.  Even here in sunny CA metal rusts if you leave outside over several winters...

Yeah, I use to live in South Central L.A. I know what you mean about rust. I buried my tonkas for a couple of days and got them out and played with them. Now that I remember, I use to have that truck in the bottom right. This looks like the collection I had. :(:(:(:(

My kids have the metal tonkas... Those things broke walls in my apartment in the bronx.

Imagine that truck off roading? how far would it get? Would the rims bend the moment it touches dirt? LOL

That looks nasty.

At least I got a good laugh...

One christmas I got nothing but toy cars and trucks. It was the best ever. I even got the Evel Knievel crash car. You'd whip it down the hallway and when it hit the wall, BAM! It would burst into pieces. Just snap 'em back together and your ready for the next stunt like jumping the bird bath Caesars Palace style. I even found a link to the commercial.

Oh, and so I'm not accused of a post hijack - Rims bad. Save money. Buy locker.

JJ you just reminded me of another 'iconic' toy of my childhood days.

did any one have the 'crash dummies car' it was white, and when you bashed it against stuff it would fall apart. but then you would put it back together and do it all again. :D

ahhhh great memories
