question about tail light guards

ok i have seen these on many rigs around town, and i think they yes, more than likely serve no prupose, but i believe they make the truck look bad ass....

 

so in saying that, i was just wondering where you all purchased them, and for how much, because i ocasionally find some on ebay....so any input about this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I like the look, but they don't do much good. The ones I have are steel and are only attached to the plastic on the hatch side of the light. Had a tree rip one off once.

On you, most likely. I'd agree with Packie. If you're gonna have some, it would be cooler if you would design and create your own. The ones I've seen would most likely cause way more damage with them installed than if a branch or whatever just impacted the light. Mainly, to protect the light, people risk surrounding body damage AS WELL as damaging the light.

yea im not getting the tail gaurds..i plan on a westin bull bar and some nice lights though.
