Xterra Diff Lowering kit on an R50?

ok... just wondering if anyone has tried SLR's diff lowering kit on the R50?

 

we are trying to figure out if the mount bushing is the same...

 

can anyone comment?

I am trying to do preventative maintenance and lower the cv angles...

 

I am doing the same on my X and if it would work for the pathy I would order a second kit at the same time...

 

let us know the next time you need her to drop by to winch your ass out... P...

If I'm thinking of the same ones, they only provide 5/8" drop. Thats barely a half inch...I guess every little bit helps.

 

But I remember reading something on the AC board at least a year or two ago about it but can't exactly remember what was said...let me see if I can dig it up.

ok... so the diff is the same, the carrier is different and is unique to the R50...

 

what we really need to figure out though is the bushing, as that is all that the diff lowering kit is...

Or you could trade in your 4wd PF for a 2wd and then lift it, and then you don't have to worry about the cv angles..That's what I did. :wacko: ok ok I never had a 4 wheel drive pathfinder :hide:
