Guest CRAZ4SNO
ok... just wondering if anyone has tried SLR's diff lowering kit on the R50? we are trying to figure out if the mount bushing is the same... can anyone comment?
vengeful
I don't think anyone has Rob... Why, is Pezzy getting ride-height jealousy, now?
Guest CRAZ4SNO
I am trying to do preventative maintenance and lower the cv angles... I am doing the same on my X and if it would work for the pathy I would order a second kit at the same time... let us know the next time you need her to drop by to winch your ass out... vengeful
If you want to lower the CV angles...you could always get the lift that Keith (system-f) is building (to be ready this summer), and eliminate the front AC coils...You'll still need the rear ones to make ride height proper... Guest CRAZ4SNO
or she could use her winch, attach it to a hook drilled in the floor, and winch her truck lower...
Pezzy
BEHAVE!! at least wait till I get the winch before you start on that!
nissandoms47
or just make a custom lift
DJ Dank
If I'm thinking of the same ones, they only provide 5/8" drop. Thats barely a half inch...I guess every little bit helps. But I remember reading something on the AC board at least a year or two ago about it but can't exactly remember what was said...let me see if I can dig it up. Guest CRAZ4SNO
ok... so the diff is the same, the carrier is different and is unique to the R50... what we really need to figure out though is the bushing, as that is all that the diff lowering kit is... Trialsin26
Or you could trade in your 4wd PF for a 2wd and then lift it, and then you don't have to worry about the cv angles..That's what I did. ok ok I never had a 4 wheel drive pathfinder Edited January 27, 2006 by Trialsin26

88pathoffroad
It's been done before. Same thing, same fit. It works just fine on both vehicles.
