For those that don't know what in the world I'm talking about; it goes across the front of the hood and up the middle of the hood to the back of the hood. He He I knew I couldn't open this thread without seeing a comment like that! On Topic: Do (automotive) Bra's really do any good? They do, plus after you leave it on a few years your paint will fade everywhere but under the bra. I'm all for tan lines, but not on a hood. mws Posted January 18, 2006 Share Posted January 18, 2006 I used one for years on a car I wanted to protect the paint on with no problems. The key is to keep it very clean underneath, and only use as needed. I used it only on long road trips. Leaving it and forgetting it will result in scuffed and unfaded paint.
