The crank angle sensor has been playing up in the wifes car. I bought a new one last week and decided that I would put it in today. A 10 minute job, 15 max. Wrong!

I removed the thermo fan and stuck the pully removed on the harmonic balancer. Remover the harmonic and saw this.

So I needed to get out and buy a new one. Trouble is the driveway is only one car wide and Sandra's car can not be started.

I pushed it to one side just enough for me to get the pathy out.

That's how I got out. :takebow:

pathy is lookin good steveo

Yeah, she has the Commodore, she'd kill you if she heard you say that. She preferes Berlina. LOL. BMW next though. We have had the VR from new and it (except for the crank angle sensor) has never missed a beat. Will will keep it another two years then pass it down to my son. He will be just about 16 then. It is good to know the history of second hand cars when you are wanting one for family. :aok:

As for the Pathy looking good? She needs along awaited wash and the bull bar needs a good polish.

Though the back has not pulled up too well, I will be taking the old girl off road later this month or early next. No ***** tracks either. :D If it kills me, then so be it. If it doesn't, then I will go out more often. I have a good back brace. I will have vid and pics of the event.

Damn, I'm glad you explained !! I wasn't sure if you were changing a flat or revovering the Pathy from the privacy of your own driveway !! :D I play vehicular roulette in the driveway all the time, but not quite the same though. The Pathy I'll drive over anythng, but the VW is so low, I can't even get a jack under it !! :o
