Guest giantxtcmtn
Does anyone know how I can solve the body roll on my pathfinder? If I get at speeds above 40 it rocks back and forth if either another car passes or if the wind blows. I've already got new shocks and struts so what else could it be? Thanks. Also, has anyone tried out the BDS suspension lift for the r-50's? Edited January 1, 2006 by giantxtcmtn
oilman
this topic has been covered here MANY times, but the search function on this board is kinda iffy. In brief your lower control arm bushings on the rear axle are worn out, that is what causes the body roll/ rocking problem. Search around in this or the garage forum and you should find lots of info on this prob. and options to fix it.
88pathoffroad
Either that or one of your swaybar end links may be loose or broken.

oilman
HMMM BDS lift: No UCAs No price... I wonder what they want for just the coils. and the max tire size is the same as what you can fit stock. Id say not worth it, that msuh lift without new UCAs will eat yo ball joints whoops, just realized the question was about r 50s... well my comments still hold true about the wd21. I also posted this (about the BDS) in the General forum, lots of feedback there, most not good.
XPLORx4
The swaying is caused by rotted bushings in the rear lower control arms. Click here for more info Re: the BDS lift, I wouldn't trust buying a product from a company that can't get the model years consistent. The unibody-style (R50) Pathfinder that uses 4 coil springs was available from 96-04, not 95-03, as stated on their site. (Later, they state 95-02.) Go with the Old-man-emu or 4x4parts.com lifts if you want a reputable lift kit. Edited January 2, 2006 by XPLORx4

I noticed that too... not a difficult thing to look up and get right... esp when advertising your product.
