Im from Oregon and I currently working on my Automotive Engineering degree at BYU-Idaho. I’ve got a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder XE wd21 4x4 with a 5spd. I love this vehicle and it was my first car. Back in high school I swapped in a used transmission after the OG broke. I also built a winch bumper, roof rack and rock sliders. I’ve driven over Imogene Pass in CO and wheeled it in Moab, UT over Hells Gate plus the Oregon dunes. Sadly, it spun a bearing 2 years ago and it’s been sitting until a few days ago I can back from college and I’m working on vg33 swapping it. I’m gonna need all the help I can get and I’d love to help in anyway I can. Just glad to finally be here! Welcome! We need more WD21s on here
ACrow
Hi everyone. I recently bought a 1994 Pathfinder SE. I’m a long time Nissan enthusiast having owned a 180sx and a couple pulsars so when I decided to get an adventure rig the pathfinder was an obvious decision. I took the risk and bought a 94 with 200k on the clock but with no serious rust (best I can tell anyway). It’s running rough and has a load of hopefully fixable issues but it’s a project so that’s half the fun. looking forward to getting involved! alfie_wiz
Hi everyone, Glad to be here. My name is Alfred from Nigeria. Been reading the posts from this forum for the past weeks, but i needed more; i needed to join in the discussions. So, i took the decisive step yesterday; i signed up! Great forum for pathy lovers and enthusiasts. For the records, I just took over ownership of a 2004 Pathfinder 4wd LE Platinum. It's currently in need of some TLC as it has been ignored (perhaps abused) for a decent period. I intend to do my best to get this gem of a vehicle back in shape. I know I am in a great place with folks of like interest. For starters, I have a P1130 dtc code with the common bucking at approx 3000 rpm. After researching online and looking closely at my pathy, i figured out the hoses around the swirl control solenoid system are wrongly connected. Please i'll appreciate a good diagram showing the correct paths and connections of all the hoses running between the vacuum tank, swirl control solenoid, check switch, actuator and airbox, etc) so i can do the needful on my truck. Thank you in advance!
mrhum
Hello from Ventura, CA. I just picked up a 1997 Pathfinder in excellent condition. It was well maintained and sat in storage for a while (I think). I just replaced the battery, did the oil and transmission/transfer/differential fluids. Going to put in some new coolant soon. The timing belt and spark plugs were done about 20k miles ago, the vehicle has 180k on the odometer.
