Precise1 Posted November 19, 2005 Share Posted November 19, 2005 Hey murbike. The models are something like this... 87-95 WD21. The 87-a few 90's are two doors while the rest of 90-95 are 4 door. The 2 door have a triangular window where the rear doors would be and have a somewhat different (read poorer) engine set up... All have VG30 motors and frames 96-2004? R50... VG33 motor. Some have different ? Are all chassis R50 until 2005 ? Unibody construction with struts... I dont know the true details as I have a 95 WD21... 2005+ is an animal that few of us have, so any input is desired. They are all real Pathys, just in different stages of evolution. 94extreme Posted November 21, 2005 Share Posted November 21, 2005 (edited) well since we are talking evolution here i am going to have to throw in the Xterra because it is actually the evolution of the wd21. the frame the engine and the actual targeted user/consumer are more along the same lines. r50 is really a departure into a unibody chassis, a different animal, soccer mom target (not pezzy though ) they all are basically powered by the same great motor. 30-33, just a bit of a size difference that's really about it. all three can wheel the great (i've only wheeled with wd21 and X'sthough, someday, someday.. ) oh yeah, welcome to pathydom!
