curious... any reason to have the intake facing forward -vs- backwards? I would think that any highway driving in the rain would allow water to your intake. Is the pathy air-starved that it needs to be 'force fed' air when running through a snorkel?

I bet that Patrol had a V8 in it that needed two snorkels. Heh. That's a real nice setup...now, if we all only knew how to weld and bend large-diameter stainless tubing... ;)

No kidding!!!

You could use the second intake to only allow air under the hood to help cool it down??! Sry... just talking out my waste disposal hole!?

I can't see how rain could get into the intake. The top hat seperates any water.

The only time you should consider facing the top hat(s) to the rear would be in a convoy of 4wds on a very dusty track. And even then you're not going to sto[p the bulk of sh!t getting in. I suppose thats the reason for precleaners.

All cars are air starved.
