Thinking about typing in a letter I wrote to a previous employer just to see how many of the words actually remain unchanged. I'd prolly get slapped with a warning or eight though.

I never know where to go/post first for maintenance questions b/c we have the Garage Section, but then we have the Discussion by Model sections, and there is double/cross posting. I have a Volvo and I'm constantly on the Volvo forum trying to solve daily problems...anyways, it's setup has models as subcategories within overall GARAGE

 

GARAGE

92-95

96 -97

98-2000

 

etc.

 

Just a thought as it helps with organizing.

i have seen this on other forums and it becomes even more confusing then anything.. leave it be dudes.. someone who has barely posted here is trying to change this place? what gives?

I agree, leave it the way it is, it's working fine.

 

The garage can be used for highly technical - not necessarily year specific questions, and the individual forums can be used for not so technical year specific questions...

Yeah, I pretty much agree after thinking about it and looking through what we've got. I should probably revise the forum descriptions, though. That might help a bit if people actually bothered to read them...

New changes:

 

Fixed email settings so everybody that subscribes to certain threads will get notification of replies.

 

Edited a few user accounts, but not in a bad way.

 

Changed smiley field window settings to +1 from original settings.

 

Re-counted all statistics for post counts and topic replies.

 

Added the Garage: How To forum.

 

Added the Garage: Tech Section.

 

Precise1 moved all pertinent topics from Tech Section into the How-To section.

I don'r really consider myself a weekend warrior, but my Pathfinder goes off-road more than rarely. Can we put a level in between on our profiles?
