Remounting Driver Seat/More Legroom?

Hey all!

Anyone have experience getting a couple more inches leg room in a manual R50? I'm looking at new brackets, remounting the current ones, or maybe playing with the pedal positions? Any help would be great.

Cheers,

Looking at something similar myself but for swapping out seats completely. I have not taken the seats out yet, but the mounting feet look like they can be removed without too much trouble. Just need to rig up a way to move the entire seat back a few inches then re attach to the feet. Maybe 6 inches of flat bar steel per corner some holes and hardware would do the trick.

I've considered messing with the seat mounts in my '93 for a little extra legroom, just never got around to it. At 6'4" another inch or so would be nice. Probably easy enough with a welder and some strap steel. My dad found a bolt-in kit for my mom's '13 CRV that budged the seat back a few inches and made it much less painful to drive.
