ahardb0dy
The pathfinders were made in Japan, so even if it was designed for the US market some parts could have non US markings I would think.
ferrariowner123
What he said, pathfinders are all from Japan. So it's going to have Japanese writing to help during the assembly process. Even the part that I got from Mexico for a friend's maxima had Japanese writing on it. -Kyle P.s. Be careful using "Jap" if I remember correctly, it's sorta a derogatory word toward Japanese people. mel.d
As mentioned, all Pathfinders up to 2004 were built in Japan which means all factory parts are JDM. Replacement parts outside of Nissan OEM will likely be USDM, Mexico, or China.

This is where I found my aftermarket tail lights. They are made by a company called REPO. I think they are based in Thailand. Anyway, autopartsmate imports them into Australia and the best part about it is free shipping anywhere in Australia.
ferrariowner123
I just used it cause it shorter than the full word I know what you mean, but it still doesn't mean it's not a derogatory word. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jap -Kyle

I know this thread is practically ancient but I ran across it in a search. You are correct Kyle it is a derogatory word.
