Jdm parts versus usdm parts

Just looking to see if there is a major difference in the parts like trim or body panels ect

 

I bought these from a jy and noticed they had jap letters on them while my stock ones do not are they jdm?

What he said, pathfinders are all from Japan. So it's going to have Japanese writing to help during the assembly process. Even the part that I got from Mexico for a friend's maxima had Japanese writing on it.

P.s. Be careful using "Jap" if I remember correctly, it's sorta a derogatory word toward Japanese people.

As mentioned, all Pathfinders up to 2004 were built in Japan which means all factory parts are JDM.

 

Replacement parts outside of Nissan OEM will likely be USDM, Mexico, or China.

Also try www.autopartsmate.com.au and look under Nissan parts. This is where I found my aftermarket tail lights. They are made by a company called REPO. I think they are based in Thailand. Anyway, autopartsmate imports them into Australia and the best part about it is free shipping anywhere in Australia.
