AndyC Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Trying to isolate an irregular engine "tick" I tracked it down to the shroud under the fan. Mine seems a bit loose, looks like it is secured with two clips. Not sure how to tighten it up a bit or if I really need it to begin with. Precise1 Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Yes, many people who install a body lift remove the lower piece (if they don't relocate the radiator) and it hardly affects the cooling at all.
