Leo94
I would use something like fiberglass filler or JB weld.
Karmann
Likewise- Some sort of filler. You may be able to get the lines on the paint out with a good rubbing compound like Meguiar's Ultimate Compound too.
Leo94
Also don't use regular body filler, that's just for smaller stuff and may even come out after a couple of offroading trips.
XPLORx4
Follow this basic concept:
borninabarn
I was an auto body tech for years and the correct way to fill those holes is to fill with a welder. You grind around the hole and inside the hole down to metal.Get your small metal pieces cut out.You hold the metal behind the hole and tack it and slowly fill the hole in and grind it back down smooth as possible and use body filler over each hole when your done. Then sand smooth and primer undercoat the rear.Take your time filling in with the welder or your panel will get too hot and warp your metal then you have more of a problem.Good Luck! Your Pathfinder looks Great!! Nice Ride!
96Pathfinder4x4
I don't know why you pulled em...but if you fill them, I 2nd borninabarn. Weld is the only way to do it. If you use body filler, it will crack your paint eventually and rust. Lots of experience on VW beetles.
