Do not be surprised if the forum is taken offline or is completely down at various times over the next week or so, as when IPS investigates the issue they may have to place it offline and/or take it down completely.

I'm blocked (by Trend Micro) at home using my corporate laptop when using my home iternet. However, I can acces without issues when the laptop is on corporate network.

Go figure...same AV is always running. I can't even turn it off. Corporate policy.

Is it blocked for the same reason inyourface1650 reported above "Known Malicious site" or does it identify something?

In other news, Avast has finally marked the support ticker as received and assigned someone to it. But has yet too communicate any form of acknowledgement.

Finally heard back from avast, a full 10 days after this problem started they updated the ticket and emailed this responce (thier first and currently only response)

Hello,

False positive detection. We are sorry.

Our virus specialists hav been working on the problem and our virus definitions will be updated.

If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to contact me again.

Technical Support Engineer

AVAST Software a.s.

Later on today, when I have the time to reply appropriately, I will ask them what their procedure is to correct the harm thier false positive has done to NPORA. Other sites have recorded Avast's false positive and at least one other A/V (Trend Micro) has blocked NPORA's domain/url do too Avast's false positive report.

In the mean time, Trend Micro users, please report these blocks as false positives/invalid and feel free to site that Avast has admitted the mistake.

Trend Micro users,

Can you verify that your able to visit NPORA without problems again? I just got off of the phone with them and they claim to have cleared the site. They also gave me this URL for future reference: http://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/
