My 92 xe has start cutting out randomly at highway speeds i had a buddy hook up a code reader none came up i changed the o2 sensor ran some injector cleaner through it and hasn't helped what should i check?

Probably a loose connection on something. Check the distributor, plug wires, coil, all that. Make sure they're in good condition and tightly secured. Could be that the vibration of highway speed is wiggling something that's loose.

What was mentioned above ^ . Also check your electrical grounds, and I would suggest checking your maf plug connector and testing your maf. There is a procedure in the fsm if you have a multi meter.

If it is cutting out completely, check what all of the above members mentioned. If it is stumbling, all of the above and also check your fuel pump, filter and pressure regulator. Did you fuel up somewhere you haven't fueled up before? ie-cheap, no-name gas station?

 

If you haven't changed the filter for a long time, I would recommend it. I find the VG33E in my Pathy is very sensitive to fuel quality. The engine in your 92 might be the same...or you could have alot of crud in your gas tank. :my2cents:

It was just stumbling bur what ever it was seems to have resolved itself gues its just the gremlins fu**in with me
