Nosser Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Hi everyone, Just purchased my first Pathfinder and am glad to have found the forum. It's a manual '92 XE 2WD that I picked up at an auction locally but seems it has spent most of its life in milder climes - originally at Pence Nissan in VA and the general lack of rust means no way it's been in Minnesota for too long. 121k on the clock and it runs like a top, I discovered why it wound up at a charity auction on the way home as the clutch slave failed. Threw a new slave on and it made it a mile or two before seeming to lock back up - at least I can move it as it locked with the clutch engaged so starting in gear makes it mobile - I'm guessing the release bearing is the culprit.
