Intake options after 3" Bodylift

my searches between here and 4x4parts and google are not getting me any options. Has anybody made a solution to the extreme angle that isn't home brewed out of ABS plastic? Maybe I just didn't search for the right key words but hopefully someone has the answer for me. Thanks, Brady

Use a hardbody intake pipe or lower the air box.

sorry I should have specified, I own a 95 Hardbody. This is just the best forum even though i'm not a pathy! I guess I didn't look under the box much... do you mean like chop the mounts for it? Thanks

Ask adamzan, when he was on his 1st roadtrip Precice1 set his up for him. No plumbing isle at HomeDepot needed, just a screwdriver iirc

Do you have a VG or a KA? That would be my first question.

You can always get a cold air filter and adapter.

I took out the mounts and for now it is just going to be rigged in place with zip ties. Probably figure out something more permanent after I decide whether or not I should home brew a snorkel. I've seen some pretty good ones for xterras and they are not much different

Check out Kiwipete's snorkel, that's the best home made one I have seen and plan to emulate it...

I used a sceptre rubber adapter and made it work after broke on the trail...have been running for 2 years without an issue

UNCC I think I ran a trail with you at GONE 11'. I recognize the multicolor body panels haha. If I remember correctly you were having tie rod problems? I was in a silver 1st gen X

yeah but i don't like the idea of an open cone filter. I'll be figuring out something with the stock air box
