Radio works but no display

My wife's 01 quest van just started this too. It has the integrated video system so I don't want to just put an aftermarket radio. I could just tear into it, if I had the time, but hopefully someone has a link!

I had the same problem with my stock deck. I noticed sometimes if you pushed on the radio or tried to move it it would come back on for a bit. I'm betting that there is a broken solder joint in there somewhere.

No removable plate.

It's not that terrible to take apart, though... if you're careful you could pull the deck out, take it apart, resolder the bits for the screen (or perhaps the bulb died?) and stick it back together. Mine came apart pretty easily, but I had no intention of putting it back in... :D (Should've saved it, everything worked!)
