Shock replacement on 91 SE

How do you deal with the electronic dampening that is connected to the shocks on a 91 SE model? I want to replace with either Rancho or Bilstiens.

You take the Old shock out and I would put Some rtv sealant into the connector and then Put in the New shock. Then ENJOY.

I'm not sure if there are any aftermarket replacements, or if factory replacements are even available. But you just disconnect the electronic plug from the shock and unbolt it.

I looked for a while, and even found some shocks that claimed they were compatible. But when I looked in the box they were regular style shocks with instructions on how to unplug the connectors lmao.

New ones would be worth it from Nissan if you're restoring one of these IMO.

Thanks All for the the replies. I'm ordering new upper A arms and shocks and never delt with this electronic dampening system before. I can't tell if it currently works or not (I don't notice a difference)and at 142000 miles, these are the original shocks. Thanks again.
