Anyone know a cheap code reader that will work for our pathfinder. My abs light and brake light our on. Its been on for 1 year so it not really doing anything to hurt pathfinder. I just want to fix it.

I think if you pull the drivers seat you can check codes without a cod reader, I read it somewhere. Allow me to utilize the search bar that you did not.

brake fluid is full. I am just looking for cheap reader so I can have one. Yes I know how to search on here.

Most code readers are OBDII readers. The WD21 uses OBDI You can't use an OBDII reader with those trucks.

 

For your brake/ABS light issue, chances are you've got air in the system somewhere. I had that happen once when I had replaced a caliper on my old WD21. I had to gravity bleed the entire system, from furthest from the master, to closest, in order to remove the air, and clear the lights.

There are instructions in the FSM for reading the ABS codes. They are separate from the engine codes. I think you have to ground a pin on a wiring harness somewhere...
