elieaazan
thanks guys . But does BL have any disadvantages??
sewebster
thanks guys . But does BL have any disadvantages?? Your truck is higher up so you probably have more chance of rolling over, perhaps more body roll etc. Worse fuel economy due to increased aero drag... harder to climb into the cab. But how big each of these concerns are is not known to me
1994SEV6
thanks guys . But does BL have any disadvantages?? Sewebster covered a few of them. Pretty much..Less payload. Less MPGs. Parts will fail faster. Wheel bearings will go bad faster.
Kingman
Sewebster covered a few of them. Pretty much..Less payload. Less MPGs. Parts will fail faster. Wheel bearings will go bad faster. What? Body lift affects nothing in the suspension. They raise the body further off the frame. Parts will not fail faster and neither will wheel bearings. The 33s will probably slow the rig down some due to the added weight and circumference, as well as throw your speedometer and odometer off a little. Kafike
Kingman is correct. A suspension lift will alter CV angles wearing out parts much faster. A body lift will not affect suspension components.
