Pathpuppy
you think its the struts cuz im crossed between struts or coils being the issue
trenton163
You should also look at your torsion bars, they have been known to sag over time giving the noise down stance. there is an article in here about how to reindex them.
Precise1
1996-2004 have struts. Cheapest and best are usually mutually exclusive. Lets start at the baginning, do you want to regain stock height and ride or do you want to lift/stiffen it past stock? B
adamzan
If its sagging its probably the coils. The strut it self is a shock and a spring. The spring is what controls ride height and the shock, well you know what shocks do lol. Kyb gr-2 are a good choice for struts. Just get oem strut mounts if you go that route. If they are sagged you can get new stock springs off rock auto or you can get some HD or lift springs from 4x4parts.com or rugged rocks.
Pathpuppy
thanks i appreciate the suggestions i will deffinetley have the torsion bars checked and look into just renewing both of the front struts and coils for a renewed stock height
SilverPath
Don't worry about Torsion bars on your R50. We don't have any, just the front struts.
