WyKi
Hi guys, When i turn on my 92 PF, it starts knocking on the bottom end of the engine, i guess it's there cuz thats from where the sound seems to be coming from. Anywho, does this mean i have to change main/rod bearings? or something of the likes? would that end up messing up my engine? thanks ahead of time. 1987caddy
Use 5-30. 10-30 is too thick when cold.
adamzan
could it be the infamous manifold tick. i know a lot of times people mistake that for a knock
Kingman
The lifters can also make a little bit of a knocking noise depending on how worn they are. Different than the common ticking.
