headpeace Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Alright, I have a bud who just bought a V6 3.0 hardbody 87 model,. He knows around here I'm his best bet for troubleshooting since we have basically the same engines. According to him he will be going along just fine and his engine will just die, he can pull over and stop. When he restarts everything is fine, starts right up and eventually the same situation happens. He has put in a new dist, new wires and plugs. nunya Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 Check the coil wire! Mine was rubbing against the a/c pully which wore it kinda through. It would ground out against the a/c pump and stall out like someone hit a switch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
