crazyhayseed
Slide pin? For the brake? Are you having trouble with the caliper on a rear disk brake set-up?
nunya
Heat... When I had a froze pin (hell it was even a top one!) I used a torch with a low flame, a small pry bar and a small hammer to get it moving. Once it was out I wire wheeled it, cleaned the caliper out with a dremmel and lubes everything up nice with some Bendix brake lube.

crazyhayseed
yessir Gotcha. Sorry, I thought I was missing something about the suspension. Nunya is on the ball. I'd prolly just beat the snot out of it with a punch and a BFH. o_O
OldSlowReliable
If you don't want to deal with it, autozone sells new caliper brackets and slide pins... just another option
lint
That is really weird. I just came in from doing my rear brakes and rotors. Guess what, I had a seized upper slide pin on the rear passenger caliper too! I just beat on it with a deadblow hammer and then worked it back and forth...I do a better job on it when the warmer weather arrives. Good luck with it! adamzan
I had the same problem on the front but I just bought new calipers and caliper frames that came with new slid pins. Problem solved.
