Of sway bars and shocks...

Well, last week I did it. I took my sway bars off and may I say Nissan did a very good job when they designed their system. HUGE difference. I feel like I'm driving a 1980 Cadillac with bad shocks. I haven't gotten to take it wheeling yet to see the difference but I'm curios to see the difference. Fun stuff. Anyone have recommendations of a good set of replacement shocks? I'm not too concerned with smoothness, I could stand it being a little rougher ride.

Many run Rancho RS5000 and ProComp ES3000's. You could step up to RS9000's or ES9000 respective. All suitable for offroad with good onroad manors.

Look towards traditional replacements from Monroe, etc for better onroad performance.

I have Trailmaster SSV's on my Yota and have always liked them, but have never run a set on a Pathfinder.

:scratchhead:

Good job as in, the sway bars were not really needed, or huh?

I like mine better without, but just me....

Edit to add Bilstein shocks are about the best you can get, pricy, but good!

I like my factory shocks. I wish I had longer ones for the rear. :( They are plenty firm on the road in the sport position, and in the touring position soft enough on the trails to not beat the hell out of everything inside.
