AS the title implies, my 5th door has recently started shakin like the dickens on bumpy roads. so I had my girlfriend drive on a washboarded road and I got in the back to see if I could stopp it buy applying pressure. no dice. It's quite annoying. . anyone else have this problem or insight into a fix?

there are litte rubber stops on each corner of the door, you can unscrew them some to tightent it up.

do you have a rear tire carier? Those are very often culprit to rattling in the back. I think there is a writeup somewhere here on how to change the bushings...

Mine rattles too. One of my little rubber stops is broken. Also check the catch on the body for looseness mine was loose and causing a lot of rattle. I just took it out and put a tack weld on it to stop it.

I have a thump noise from the back of my truck when I hit large bumps, I was thinking it was the body loose on the frame. Now y'all got me thinking it might be the rear door. I checked the gasket and rubber bumpers are good. When it's closed it is tight and doesn't move. I will have to go for a ride in the back like Wilson did. I got 5 miles to get to one of my hunting spots, 25 to 30mph on a trail in the woods gets pretty annoying!
