jeremyelvis Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 ok i was snooping under the hood today and i noticed a "vent line" that comes from the front and rear diffs. they come together on a metal tube and the tube just stops. it has a "bulb" on the end like to where another rubber tube would conect but im not sure if there should be one or to where it would go.its the metal line that comes up from the frame to the fire wall on the pasenger side. is this normal or am i missing a part or more? any info is helpful Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MY1PATH Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 also that vent is your t-case, Tranny and front diff. the rear diff vents inside a frame crosmember and that one should be extened up into the rear pillarif you do any kind of mud or water.
