honestabe
First off I'd like to say this is technically my wifes truck. I just bought it for her for her first car 2 weeks ago for $1000. Not sure which specific model it is, but I can tell you it's a 91 4WD auto with 31x10.50,15 tires and the bumpers are something custom. It has 192k miles on it and runs great. The front bumper is pushed in an inch on the drivers side from where the previous owner hit something and crushed the stock bumper bracket that the tube bumper is welded to. I have a new pair of belts waiting to go on, although the timing belt is on my list of things to do (it's a lot of work, I dread it). It needs a few thing still like a stereo system, but mechanically it seems to be in great shape. I've already done some of the basic maintenance like flushing/ispecting the brake system along with installing new plugs and wires (still can't find my socket thanks to the DS rear spark plug). I'm hitting up the local junk yards to see what I can scroung up in the way of parts. Here's some pics. If anyone is local to me, feel free to give me a call and come on over. I have a ton of parking space and am home most of the time. Adam (503)206-9067 Oh, in case any of ya'll are into Toyota Supra's, I go by the same name on SupraForums and SupraMania. Here's a couple pics of my toy Edited September 28, 2010 by honestabe
teixeira
Nice pics but I got to tell you those bumpers is that? Sure would be something to ad to the list. Sorry to say and it's only my opinion. Mechanicaly you are on the right path, I think. As for your toy, that is a sweet ride and in great condition, I like it very much. Precise1
Welcome Bud!! Congrats on the new Pathy, it sounds like you know where to start. I'm guessing the model is the XE, those rims are painted over too. Don't put off the timing belt job, technically the third replacement should have been put on at 180k miles (60k mile interval). There are a couple great write ups that will make the job much easier so do it soon!! (still can't find my socket thanks to the DS rear spark plug). Yeah, that one is tucked away a bit, isn't it?? Look at the pinned topics in the Garage and download your free copy of the FSM; 94 is the earliest year, but all the motor and most of the chassis/syspension is the same. silverton
You're the guy who did the solid state replacement lights! I didn't realize you were local. I used to have a few mk2 supras, went by the same name on celicasupra and supramania. Your pathy is missing it's front corner markers btw. if you would like a matching spare, I have a couple, 235/75's are mounted on them as that is the stock size for XE's

I've done a little work to them since that pic was taken. I have more current pics in my build thread on SupraMania. Yes I know the corner markers are missing. I need to rebuild the front bumper first to be able to install some. I already have a spare that's stock size, but thanks for the offer. Welcome Bud!! B I know the rims are actually the spare tire wheels. They were unpainted when I got them and they didn't look good. I was the one who actually painted them black since the way the were stood out like a sore thumb. Aftermarket wheels are planned, along with some meaty 31's. I'll get a timing belt shortly, although I've never done one before (especially on an engine as crammed in as this one). teixeira: Do you have any suggestions as to how to build a much better bumper? The lower tubes on the bumpers are only 1.5" round stock while the top one is something like 2". I have to pull the bumper off anyways to repair the damage to the mount. silverton
Got your PMs, will reply later when I have more time. Don't need a bumper for the corner markers, there are two screws in the fender. and those are actually the factory wheels for the XE model. Like I said, I have two just like it, and then two "spares" which are steelies. And hopefully you aren't the one who spray bombed the body... teixeira
Well I think you have 2 ways: 1st - on one of your trips to the junkyard see if there's a stock bumper, if you like their look. or 2nd - see around here there's a few guys who done their own bumper and turned out really good, like OldSlowReliable did, check it out: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=22003&st=220 Search around and you'll see more. nunya
I see a Metro in the background! the bumbers are.... different but hey, as long as they get the job done until you get/make ones you like (or if you like them, more power to you. it is YOUR truck) Nice Supra too, don't know whats goeing on with the headlights but I think I like it

The only thing I've done is fix it and install missing parts. Stock sucks. I want something much stronger so I can hit things without doing serious damage. Speaking of, I pulled off the front bumper today and discovered that the drivers side of the front end is pushed in a little, oiy. It took a sledge hammer to be able to get to the lower bumper bolt. I'm on Ecomodder and Metroforums under the same name. I drive a lot so I need something fuel efficient. The bumpers will be rebuilt so they are much better and stronger. We bought the truck like that. The headlights are a work in progress. Slowly they are getting refined.
Precise1
I want something much stronger so I can hit things without doing serious damage. See below. The only serios damage that will occurr is to the other vehicle. The only draw back is the price... B
teixeira
Yep, that bumper is what I think is the perfect fit to Pathfinder but I though wasn't available anymore...
honestabe
I pulled off the front bumper yesterday and replaced the bumper mounts with ones from the junk yard. The drivers side is pushed in a little from the impact. We're going to reuse the bumper that was built, although fill in the gaps with sheet metal for a smoother look and mount parking lights in it and driving lights on top of it. We're also going to add an upper bar to the bumper that's level with the hood. All I need now is sheet metal, some steel tubing, and a welder. adamzan
Good price for a clean truck. Only thing I don't like is the spray bomb paint job and the rims that are normally spares. But it looks like you're on your way to a nice rig!
Mr. Pickles
Welcome! That Pathy will come around, show it some love... then beat it. I like your Supra, that's a sweet ride. I'm local too btw, well sorta, in Bonney Lake, near Mt. Rainier.

But it looks like you're on your way to a nice rig! Trust me, a paint job is planned. Other things have higher priority though. Including replacing all 4 hatch struts, the center console (all screwed up and broken), and a stereo system. Oh, and the most important thing, replacing all 3 belts. Yes I know the wheels are all spares. Oddly enough, I picked up a Pathy wheel at the junk yard as a spare and it happened to be a regular wheel. Welcome! That Pathy will come around, show it some love... then beat it. I like your Supra, that's a sweet ride. I'm local too btw, well sorta, in Bonney Lake, near Mt. Rainier. That's the plan. I need to find someone to do the welding on the front bumper. I don't have a welder nor the skills. I need to have the tube bumper welded to the stock brackets, then weld some sheet metal over the sides of the bumper so it's a sealed unit and looks beefier and will be stronger. My uncle lives in Bonney Lake.
