Looks good so far though man welcome! I used stock front jeep cherokee 4.0 H.O springs part# 5200 1794. With heat, I opened the pig tail (instead of cutting it) and tada! easy and cheap lift. (and the ride is better)

Slashjt
Welcome Daniel, and thanks for the pictures/videos!! B Thanks, I like DIY proyects, they feel diferent. The suspension lift, the body lift and other stuff are a home made. I also made the auxiliar arm brace (idler arm brace) just like the one that calmini makes, using a metal cutter (grinder?) and a welder. 1 hour of work + USD$2 ... cheap and easy!, works great. Slashjt
Mmmm I'd like to buy the calmini steering fix But shipping to Chile is just INSANE. They refuse to offer better shipping. I buy lots of things in ebay and shipping to Chile is pretty cheap most of the times. - Is there a better option regarding steering? (another manufacturer, cheaper or something) - Anything home made? - Any experiencies with that product?
Precise1
Calmini can be hard (and expensive) to get replacement parts from and they occasionally have quality issues. You can do the same cheaper yourself. Check out the TK1 centerlink at www.grassroots4x4.com and add an idler arm brace (or manual steering box uipgrade) and you are set up fairly well. I only see this one, is that the TK1? Steering System EDIT: That's USD$300 with shipping to Chile, it's kinda expensive.. Could I reinforce the original centerlink? Good news! I'm doing the Roll Cage.. some pics of the advances.. Edited June 9, 2010 by Slashjt
Precise1
Yes, that is the one. If you can coordinate with someone that has an old centerlink, it would be $225+shipping. Yes, a little pricy, but well worth it; they last a long time. Reinforcing in not really the issue, it is the twisting that the centerlink does that causes damage. Look in Members Rides at the bottom of the main page and go to KiwiPete's thread. He has something fabbed up that should also stop the twisting effect and I'm sure you can make it. The rollcage looks good!! Do you have plates underneath reinforcing the mounts? B

He's so freaking handy... amazing work, I'll do that right away. The roll cage doesn't have reinforcing plates, other experiences (here in Chile) are very good without them. Some pics of today's work.. Home Made Rocksliders.. (they look just AMAZING when you see them live) =D
