Nice truck, but $15k?? What, did they use all Calmini parts or something?? Oh, wait...

If I had the $, I'd buy it, put on slicks and run it at the drags. Calmini couldn't even make an idler arm brace right, I'm not impressed...

They must be selling it to fund other projects? Seems like it would be a better idea to give it away. Buy $100 worth of Calmini stuff, you get one entry. Wait a month and give it away.

Dont know too many people that would spend 15k on a hardbody...

IIRC, and unless they fixed it, the front is all screwy. It was their original, first time attempt at the SAS kit they sell, and like I said, IIRC it came out much less than perfect.

Ain't that the Calmini way? From the way B cries at least...

  • My uca's came with welding slag beads stuck underneath the powdercoat.
some of the coating peeld when I chiped off some of the slag. Powdercoat doesn't peel unless the metal was not properly preped thus not allowing a proper bond of the coating.
  • No zerks added to wd21 UCA'sdespite their FULL KNOWLEDGE FOR YEARS that their bushings squeak unless greased well, they won't admit it.
  • Their wd21 UCA's hit and dent any shocks that are wider than theirs and they are FULLY AWARE again FOR YEARS, they won't admit it.
  • And they wash their hands of you as soon and they print the shipping label.
  • I can't find the thread anymore but if you buy used calmini from another person and then try to buy a few new parts to fix it up (aka missing sas parts) they label you a liar and a theif and cuss at you on the phone...

On the bright side they are by far the beefyest UCA's and if you get yours cut for the shocks, zerks added, use energy formula 5 (keeps it quiet for about 1year) and have them blasted and re-coated(properly)--- then you will have the best UCA's that would never give you anymore issues....

Yea, read the post...that royally sucks man. Sorry they jacked you guys around.

All the Calmini stuff I bought, is used, and has been previously installed on another rig.

I am fully capable of modding the UCA's, and plan to do so if they are not already done.

I will either build me a HooHaa style system myself, or just cough up the funds to support his. Either way, I do not foresee going straight axle with this rig, as my time is ate up with work, and it is a daily driver after all...(Oh and the wife already hates climbing into it, thinks it is just too high....and its not even lifted YET!)

tell her you will get some "steps" for it so it won't be so bad. I got my sliders from steevo on rugged rocks. Now I gotta position them so they can be used as so without creating further obstruction lol.

She mainly whined when she was pregnant with our third and final child... She has not said anything recently...which is awesome...because im about to jack it up some more...

But that is a good point...although I do not need the rock sliders...
