T-Case And Auto-Trans. Pan/fluid

Not much knowledge about ATs here.

 

I dropped mt AT pan last fall, replaced gasket and ATF filter, refilled entire system.

 

My question...is this system all connected to my T-Case?

 

In other words, when I dropped the pan and changed the fluid last fall, is that new fluid now in the T-Case?

 

Just wondering if I need to do a separate changing of fluids for the T-Case.

The transmission and transfer case are two different housing units. There is a drain plug on the front or back of the front output section for you to use to drain the fluid.

Just make sure you can remove the filler bung before you remove the drainage bung; like you would do with your diff.
