Us Canada Border With G2 License?

Hey guys I want to go on a road trip to the US from Canada. I know I need my passport, but am I able to drive in the states with a G2 license? Some people are telling me I need a full G.

When I had my g2 they let me cross the border driving myself, so I don't think there is any issue. They looked at my license. I'm not sure they even know how our licensing system works.

Okay thanks, cause I was hearing that I couldn't.Thanks for clearing it up for me, now the trip to the states will be that much closer.

If that is the equivelent of a "Learners Permit" here, then they should be stopping you if you don't have an adult with you.

As long as you're driving within the limitiations of your license, you can go anywhere you want. Just make sure you've got your passport with you.

It's not a learners, and ill make sure to have my Passport
