magregor
I was removing my gas tank (to repair frame) and when I was taking clamps off the fuel lines...the fuel lines (steel ones) crumbled in my hands...I am just asking for suggestions as to what to use to replace the entire fuel rail from tank to filter....I was thinking either high pressure hose, or soft copper tubing...Suggestions? adamzan
How much are the fuel lines?
jadm4x4
i just used fuel hose. they cut mine when fitting a long range tank ( it origionaly had a gas conversion in place) just make shure well in my case that you wrap all the hoses in rubber where you might think that they will rub on something or be hit by flying rocks and debrie. i especially paid attention to where the fuel lines ran over the top of the suspension parts. not shure what the latter models are like but just some helpful info
Precise1
They all will work and have their own pros and cons, from cost and ease of install to durability. The really important aspect is that whatever you decide to use, you do it well and thoughtfully, as jadm4x4 indicated. B
