suzonka Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 (edited) yes my remote starter box fell down and was hanging over my brake peddle so I pulled over and tucked it under some heavy wires by the steering colum , its staying there 2 weeks now , should I mount it up higher under the dash for any reason? It does not really need to be higher, but I do fully recommend securing it in some way, be it with a mounting bracket or zip ties. No matter how you choose to do it, just do it. If it falls and tangles up in your feet or otherwise causes your foot to slip, it could result in an auto accident with possible deadly results.
