Putting 4wd in a 2wd

If I had a 94 4wd parts car and found a 99 2wd pathy for sale, would I be able to use the parts from the 94 to make the 99 a 4wd or would the parts not interchange?

2wd models and 4x4s use slightly different parts overall

I don't think this is possible unless you do some hardcore custom fab

Nope, but only because the 94 is a WD21, and the 99 is a R50.

Well technically the diff and Tcase should fit, But you'd have to get a 4wd trans.

94=WD21. Frame, torsion bar front end, spline locking hubs...

99=R50. No frame, strut front end, drive flange units.

 

I don't think there will be any straight forward compatibility at all.
