I'm a Graybeard that lives in snow country, Driggs Idaho, and work in Jackson Hole, Wyoming (over a 84,000 ft. pass) as a masonry forman. I'm new to the pathfinder, but not to Off-Roading. I've had a 4X4 most of my life. When I was looking for a site to join, I learned enough in the "start here" to see that this was the place. I just bought a 98 LE. with 131K for $350. It has a smoked tranny and is due a timing belt. It's in good condition, stock and never worked on more than oil changes. My late father taught me that you don't pay people to do what you can do. Buy a book, pick the brains of those who know, dive in. So the first part I bought was a FSM. You all are the brains. Search first, post as needed. It's better to let people think your stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. I'm not a purest, Whatever is best. I'm a Datsun guy. My baby is a 260Z with a 383 SBC. I'll be read'in ya.
