Body lift with auto trans.

I'm planning a 2" body lift asap but the only kits I can find state that they are not for use on a vehicle equipped with an auto trans.

 

Does anyone know what the descrepancy is and how I wold go about making this work with my auto 'Finder???

Not a problem. It'll work just fine, out of the box. No modification necessary. There's lots of slack on the shifter cable, as I had no issues with my 3" BL, and there are plenty of other folks with body lifts on their AT equipped Pathy's.

I got a body lift on mine... no problems at all....The one problem i had was shifting down in to 4x4 Low... the floor gets in the way... so the previous owner (who installed the BL) cut a small portion of the floor out.... only like 3" though... not that big of a deal...

Yep, mine as well. Forgot about that issue, though, it relates to both MT and AT equipped trucks.

Yea, the 4low issue applys to all, had to mess with my floor and shifter as well.

You can get a 4x4 lever from a D21 (Hardbody) and use that since they sit higher off the frame already

This is all that was necessary for me when I did my 2 inch body lift.
