B I'm sure they would have generated an off road support that would have trickled down to pathfinders some. Was it because of the odd legislation that changed the 2 door to the 4 or just because Japan didn't want us to have the good stuff? Was it our government or their lobbyists?? It always struck me as a very professional rig...the kind of thing that a billion dollar research project would be driving if nissan had sent patrol's to USA, noone would be arguing about jeeps being best, cause nissan would!
