HID on a 1990 Nissan Pathinfinder SE

i wanted to install a HID kit on my pathfinder, i wanted to know from you guys if u think tat it is a gud idea or not???????

It's good if you don't mind blinding other people at night. The stock headlight housings aren't designed with HID bulbs in mind, so the focus point and beam distribution end up scattering light everywhere. You might check on headlight laws in your state.

i live in jamaica so we dont really have any law as pertainin to HID or what we can and cant do with the headlights. But if the HID kits are plug and play what is the sense of them making bulbs that fit the 1990 Pathfinders.

Because they're only out to make money by selling products, not to cater to legality issues. 99% of the lighting products sold that are NOT OEM-specific are sold with the terms "for off-road or show use only".

I think hid's in non-hid fixtures are un-safe.

too much light gets in other drivers eyes and not enough light points down the road.
