Can you get a few pics Grim?

how did you install it? Only way I can see is to remove the grill (and as a result, headlights), bumper, and a/c condenser and THEN mount it, then put everything back...

Uh, the radiator has 2 top bolts, undo those, and tilt the radiator back a bit. Have the hoses mounted on the cooler and slide it down between there and feed the hoses out the bottom. (B doesn't like em) but I mounted mine with the through the radiator zip clips. Only need 2 to hold it in place.

Wait, how did you do that? My radiator is directly beneath the front frame... top... thing... gah. I'll have to take a picture once I get my truck back. In any case, I'd have had to go from underneath, which meant taking the armor plate off... which I didn't want to attempt at the time due to the temp. and not being sure if I could manhandle that back on alone.

Well, after nearly a week of driving - she's running VERY nice. No stutter OR hesitation at all, accelerates harder and more smoothly, holds highway speed faster, and downshifts less often to accelerate. All in all - a 200% improvement :)

MPG wont be known for at least 2 weeks, as I was on a partial tank.

Kit (and anyone else) if you are interested there is a dude on ebay that sells a 175* tranny/oil thermostat that hooks up in line...I bought one installed in minutes (after studying the diagram and laying under the truck) and the tranny heats up smoothly and then cools down. I am about 67 miles south of you but it still gets cold here too!

The thermo runs either to the cooler or loops back into the tranny...I think that wide open 80% flows to the cooler with 20% looping back in---it is a no pressure drop unit.

I have been thinking of adding a magnetic filter inline to see what I can catch---any thoughts out there?
