It ran great for a couple of weeks,Now,when taking off I have to push the gas pedal to the floor and it just crawls alone and then it kicks in, power light come on and revs very high ,trying to get to 60 Mph with the pedal to the floor is hard to do now.Is the pathy dieing? It only has 250,000 on it...LOL! Edited December 31, 2008 by muddawg
adamzan
Have you checked to see if your transmission is in limp mode? When you turn the truck on the does the power light blink or just come on and then go off?
Precise1
Run the ECU codes and see if it tells you anything. B
94extreme
i bet it's something related to the "reasonly" tuneup. lol
Slick
when you were fishing around doing your tune up did you move or mess with throttle cables? (i had that problem after i changed my injector rails, it accidentally got adjusted too tight and would cause surging and death)

Try unplugging the 02 sensor under the hood and see if it runs better...I didn't have enough cash to replace mine in the summer, so I forgot about it, and it's been slowly getting worse....
